Art for Change

Expert Interviews

Five international experts on the five principles of Art for Change

Art for Change rests on five principles for using creativity professionally in work with trauma and mental health. In this series, five international experts unfold the principles – each from their own practice in art therapy, expressive arts and storytelling.

The interviews are intended as a companion to the book Art for Change – Creativity in Working with Trauma and Mental Health and to ArtMentum’s online course. You do not need to be an artist to use the method. What matters most is the ability to create a safe space, stay curious and support the client’s own process.

All interviews are in English and run between 8 and 13 minutes. Each page also holds exercises, guidance for the therapist and questions for reflection drawn from the book.
