Online course in art therapy

 

Welcome to ArtMentum’s Art Therapy and Storytelling in Reconstruction and Recovery course. The course consists of five modules, which we recommend you go through in chronological order.

The modules all contain knowledge and ideas for practice developed by Art Mentum partners.

Module 1

 

Introduction to art therapy, storytelling and recovery

Benefits for practitioners:

  • Can explain why art therapy and storytelling can be used in trauma treatment
  • Has knowledge of the most important concepts
  • Have insight into facilitation considerations and ethics in art therapy.

Module 2

Art therapy and storytelling as restoration/recovery

  • How to create a new life story
  • Can explain the module’s exercises to clients
  • Can facilitate the exercises.
